KSrelief Distributes 11 Tons of Food Boxes in Sudan

AL-JAZIRAH STATE, SUDAN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed more than 11 tons and 880 kg of food baskets in Madani, Al-Jazirah state, Sudan on Thursday. This humanitarian effort has benefited over 1,420 people in the area.

This humanitarian help effort is part of the commitment by Saudi Arabia, as represented by KSrelief, to help needy nations worldwide.

Earlier, assistant general supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz held a meeting with the deputy special representative for Sudan with the United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan, Clementine Nkweta-Salami, and her accompanying delegation on Friday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two sides discussed matters of common interest related to humanitarian and relief affairs, developments in the relief projects executed by KSrelief in Sudan, and means to enhance them.

Nkweta-Salami lauded the humanitarian help provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via KSrelief to all nations in need worldwide and to the Sudanese citizens in particular to contribute to lessening the suffering of the needy.
