GITEGA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues its “Saudi Noor” volunteer project in order to combat blindness in Burundi, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The SPA reported that the project is running from September 14 to 20. Since the drive’s start, KSrelief’s volunteer medical team has examined around 1,710 patients, distributed about 523 pairs of eyeglasses, and performed around 167 successful eye surgeries, the SPA added. The initiative is part of the volunteer medical projects undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), through KSrelief, to help those suffering from eye diseases across the world.
