ADEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been holding a medical program for catheterization and cardiac surgery for children and adults at Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hospital in Aden, Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
The project runs from May 4 to 15, 2024, with the participation of 25 volunteers from various expertise in partnership with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY).
Since the start of the campaign, the volunteer medical team has performed 166 successful catheterization procedures and 25 open-heart surgeries.
The assistance is part of a series of relief and humanitarian programs that Saudi Arabia implements through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to help needy and affected nations and people worldwide.
