KSrelief Conducts Heart Surgery Project in Indonesia

MEDAN, Indonesia: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has initiated a voluntary medical project in Medan, Indonesia, on August 7, 2024, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. According to the SPA, the initiative, which concludes on August 13, provides adult patients with open-heart surgeries and catheterization procedures. The SPA added that a dedicated team of 23 medical professionals is taking part in the humanitarian endeavour.

Since the project’s commencement, KSrelief’s medical team has also successfully performed around six open-heart surgeries and six cardiac catheterizations. This medical mission has underscored the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) resolve to assisting vulnerable populations across the world through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief.
