KSrelief Concludes Noor Program to Fight Blindness in Ghana: SPA

Nsawam: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded the Noor Saudi Volunteer Program to fight Blindness and the Diseases that Cause it in the city of Nsawam, Ghana, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday. The program was implemented from November 25 to December 2, the SPA maintained.

The volunteer medical team associated with KSrelief carried out examinations of 3,212 people during the drive, the SPA added. According to the SPA, they provided around 649 eyeglasses, performed 381 surgical operations, and also distributed 2,925 medications.

The health project is an extension of the volunteer medical efforts linked to combating blindness and its causes provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) via its humanitarian arm, KSrelief. It aims to help patients and those affected by eye diseases across the world, the SPA further reported.
