RIYADH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has wrapped up its third and fourth volunteer training programs in Hatay Province, Türkiye, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The initiative, which ran from September 29 to October 4, 2024, entailed training 20 volunteers in economic empowerment (embroidery, sewing, refrigeration/air conditioning repair), multimedia technology, computer maintenance, graphic design and first aid (including training for visually impaired individuals).
Overall 215 individuals benefited from the training, and 782 received psychological support at individual and group therapy sessions. The training focused on improving the livelihoods and well-being of victims of earthquake in Syria and Türkiye.
