KSrelief Completes Distribution of 4,000 Shelter NFI Kits in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) completed the distribution of 4,000 Shelter NFIs (Non-Food Items) kits project in the flood-affected areas of Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province.

The aid agency said in a statement on Wednesday that KSrelief’s Shelter NFIs project was focused on the four most severely affected districts in Punjab where communities were in dire need of assistance. These districts include Kasur, Vehari, Layyah, and Rajanpur.

The emergency relief project is an integral component of KSrelief’s Shelter NFIs project for the year 2023-2024. The kits consist of 4,000 Shelters, 4,000 Solar Panels, 4,000 Kitchen Sets, 4,000 Plastic Mats, and 8,000 Blankets, making it a comprehensive relief effort. 

The implementation of the project is in collaboration with the Hayat Foundation and local government, ultimately benefiting more than 28,000 individuals across the four districts of the province.
