ADEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project has dismantled 629 mines in various regions of Yemen during the third week of March, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
Under the Masam Project, 105 anti-tank mines and 520 unexploded ordnances were dismantled. Since the beginning of the project, a total of 435,863 mines have been cleared.
Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, is committed to clear Yemeni lands of all mines. This menace has resulted in the loss of lives and injuries to children, women, and the elderly.
