RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Supreme Court has called on all Muslims in the country to sight for the Ramadan crescent on Tuesday evening, Arab media reported on Monday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Tuesday corresponds to Shaban 29, 1444 AH and if the Ramadan crescent is spotted on Tuesday evening, then the holy month of Ramadan will start on Wednesday. If not, the month of Ramadan will begin on Thursday.

The Kingdom’s Supreme Court said that any person who sights the Ramadan crescent should notify the nearest court to their place and record their testimony in the local court
