KSA’s Minister for Hajj, Malaysian Prime Minister Discuss Cooperation in Diverse Fields

KUALA LUMPUR: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah has held meeting with the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Arab media reported on Tuesday.

The two sides discussed bilateral ties and matters related to the quota for Hajj and Umrah during the meeting. They also exchanged views over initiatives to implement to further improve cooperation in education, tourism, investment, and trade.

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim lauded the services provided by the KSA to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

Recently, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah initiated a program to provide training to the leaders of foreign Hajj pilgrim groups before their arrival into Saudi Arabia. The first session of the training was held in Kuala Lumpur and more than 30 group leaders attended the training.

The main aim of the program is to enhance the quality of services for Hajj pilgrims, facilitate their visits and enrich their experiences as per the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

According to Arab news, more training sessions will also be organized in other nations before the start of the current year’s Hajj season.
