RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will host a summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Central Asian nations on Wednesday in Jeddah.
KSA to Host GCC-Central Asia Summit on Wednesday
According to Arab media, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, has extended invitations to leaders of all nations in the two blocs to attend the summit on Wednesday. Saudi envoy to Kuwait, Prince Sultan bin Saad handed Kuwait’s Crown Prince Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah an invitation from Saudi Salman to the Emir of Kuwait on Thursday.
The King has extended an invitation to the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. Central Asian nations include Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.
