RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs on Friday summoned Denmark’s charge d’affaires to Saudi Arabia and handed her a protest note calling to prevent these disgraceful acts, which violate global norms, laws and all religious teachings.
In a statement, the ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Riyadh’s absolute rejection of these actions that feed hatred.
Earlier, the Kingdom expressed its “strong condemnation and dissatisfaction” with a failure to take essential steps to stop the recurrence of incidents of violations against Islamic sanctities.

The KSA said an “extremist group in Denmark burned a copy of the Holy Qur’an, and also raised slogans against Muslims, in front of the Embassy Iraq in Copenhagen.”
