RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Thursday strongly condemned an Israeli raid on a Jenin refugee camp and termed it a serious violation of international law. Reports said that nine people were killed in the Israeli raid in the west bank.

Meanwhile, the Israeli soldiers also fatally shot a Palestinian youth later in a separate incident. The KSA Ministry of foreign affairs has rejected the serious violations of international law carried out by Israeli troops and asked the international community to fulfill its responsibilities to prevent escalation, and Israeli aggressions to end the occupation and provide necessary protection for the civilian population.

The Kingdom expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the relatives of the victims and to the people and government of Palestine, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery. Earlier, Oman and Kuwait also strongly condemned the attack in a Jenin refugee camp.
