JEDDAH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah has recently concluded a trip of Balkan nations: Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The SPA reported that during this trip, he also met with leaders and Umrah company authorities to discuss improving the Umrah experience for pilgrims from the entire region.
Al-Rabiah has also emphasized the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) resolve to facilitating Hajj and Umrah for Muslims across the world, also highlighting initiatives under Vision 2030 to enrich the pilgrim experience, the SPA reported.
Key meetings included discussions with Albania’s President Bajram Begaj, Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and North Macedonia’s Speaker Talat Xhaferi.

The visit included the launch of the Nusuk platform in Albania and inking an air transport deal with Kosovo. These trips aim to strengthen global cooperation and align with the Pilgrim Experience Program, a Vision 2030 Initiative in order to enhance the pilgrimage experience for all, the SPA further reported.
