KSA Reports 96 New Covid-19 Cases

RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) reported 96 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday, the Ministry of Health said.  It added that the total number of Covid-19 cases in Saudi Arabia over the course of the pandemic grew to 830,223. Officials also confirmed that one person passed away due to Covid-19 in the Kingdom.

According to Arab News, as many as thirty-one cases were reported in Riyadh and seventeen in Jeddah. It added that several other cities also recorded fewer than ten new cases each. The ministry announced that thirty-eight patients had recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries in Saudi Arabia over the course of the pandemic to 817,250. The health authorities said that 38 patients were in critical condition.

As many as 69.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered since Saudi Arabia’s immunization campaign began, with over 25 million people completely vaccinated.
