RIYADH: The Ministry of Health said on Wednesday that 176 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It added that the total number of Covid-19 cases in Saudi Arabia over the course of the epidemic grew to 841,196.

The officials also confirmed one new corona-related death, raising the total number of deaths to 9,645 in the country. Of the new infections, fifty-one were reported in Riyadh, 10 in Dammam, and 25 in Jeddah. Similarly, several other cities reported fewer than ten new cases each.
According to the health ministry over 200 patients had recovered from the deadly virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to more than 827,475.
It further said 4,076 corona cases were still active, saying that 6,673 PCR tests were also conducted in the last 24 hours.
