RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has secured first position among the G20 nations for factor productivity growth rate in the previous year, International Labor Organization (ILO) said.

According to Arab news, the 4.9 % surge signifies the peak productivity growth rate attained by the KSA, which was 6.3 % in 2019.
KSA and G20 countries
After that, in 2021, the productivity growth rate increased to 4.4 % before reaching its peak level in 2022. The KSA launched several initiatives like organizing and developing the Kingdom labor market, enhancing its attractiveness, and enlightening its productivity as per the labor market strategy to achieve the growth rate.

The Saudi Press Agency said that the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources has also announced its plans to start the Skill Verification scheme in India, making it the 2nd beneficiary of the program for skilled workers after it was officially launched in Pakistan in September.
