KSA Players Conclude Participation in Asian Games by Securing Ten Medals

RIYADH: Omar Nada, an 18-year-old jiu-jitsu athlete from the Saudi National team has won the bronze medal in the under-85 kg weight category, marking the conclusion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) participation in the 19th Asian Games, in China, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

KSA Players Conclude Participation in Asian Games by Securing Ten Medals

With this win, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) total medal count increased to ten, comprised of four gold, two silver, and four bronze medals, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. The Asian Games are set to conclude on Sunday.

Omar Nada, who is the youngest player in the Saudi delegation at Hangzhou, has fixed his name in history as the youngest Saudi athlete to secure a medal in this mega event. Omar Nada clinched the bronze medal by defeating Abdulrahman Haj of Kyrgyzstan in the game for 3rd and 4th place, based on a referee’s decision.
