RIYADH: An “Artificial Intelligence Hour” initiative is targeting over 1,300 private and public schools across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), with the goal of raising awareness of the emerging and new technology among students and inspiring the upcoming generation of programmers, as part of the KAS’s efforts to empower and support the nation’s youth and enhance their talents, Arab media reported on Tuesday.
KSA Launches ‘AI Hour’ Initiative in Over 1,300 Schools
The step is the second in the National Olympiad for Programming and AI, which has been set up by the Saudi Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Saudi Data and AI Authority and the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, known as Mawhiba.

It offers more than 300,000 female and male students in middle and high schools the chance to learn in the Artificial Intelligence sector.
