RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian have discussed future steps during a telephonic conversation, Arab media reported on Sunday.
As per media reports, Saudi Minister received a telephone call from his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir Abdollahian and discussed matters of mutual interests.
KSA-Iran ties
The two top diplomats also discussed key matters of mutual interest and the future steps in light of the recent trilateral deal. It may be recalled that the KSA and Iran foreign ministers had also agreed earlier to hold bilateral dialogue during the holy month of Ramadan.
Riyadh and Tehran announced on March 10 the restoration of diplomatic ties that was severed in 2016, in an agreement brokered by Beijing.
The three nations announced that a deal has been reached between KSA and Iran, which includes an agreement to reopen their missions and embassies within sixty days.
