RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian have agreed to hold meeting during the holy month of Ramadan, Arab media reported on Monday.
According to Saudi Press Agency the two diplomats discussed in a telephone conversation a number of matters amid the trilateral agreement inked in China.
KSA-Iran ties
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Iran agreed on March 10 to resume diplomatic ties and also reopen their embassies within 60 days after years of tensions.
The agreement was brokered by Beijing, which was an outcome of long negotiations between Tehran and Riyadh that had been continuing for several years between the two sides.

Pakistan, Yemen, Syria, Turkiye, Egypt, and the United States have welcomed the normalization of relations between KSA and Iran.
It may be recalled that diplomatic relations between KSA and Iran were severed following protesters attacked the Saudi missions in Iran, Tehran.
Earlier, Saudi Minister for Foreign Affairs Faisal Bin Farhan had said that the agreement with Iran reached included the respect of both nations sovereignty and it aimed to resolve issues and differences between the two sides.
