KSA Hosts Dialogue on AMR

GENEVA: Participants and speakers in the Dialogue on Antimicrobial Resistance have commended the fruitful and interactive talks, focused on major Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) themes. At the invitation of the Saudi Minister for Health Affairs, Fahad bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel, the talks was hosted by Saudi Arabia at the headquarters of the Saudi Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva.

KSA Hosts Dialogue on AMR

This dialogue and discussion were part of the activities accompanying the 76th session of the annual General Assembly of the United Nations World Health Organization.

The talks aimed to shed light on Antimicrobial Resistance challenges and prepare for Riyadh’s hosting of the 4th high-level international ministerial conference on Antimicrobial Resistance in November 2024.

Heads of delegations from the World Health Organization General Assembly’s Member nations also attended the meeting, along with representatives of global organizations and forums interested in AMR.
