RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan arrived in Ankara to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Erdogan for a new term, Saudi Foreign Ministry said on Saturday.
President Erdogan was sworn in for a 3rd term as President of Turkiye, following winning a historic runoff poll to extend his two-decade government.

Earlier, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman made a phone call to Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and congratulated him on his victory. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Crown Prince felicitated Tayyip Erdogan after he was declared the winner in a historic runoff election in Turkiye. During the conversation, Crown Prince Mohammed wished Erdogan success and the people of Turkiye further prosperity and progress.
Earlier, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had congratulated Erdogan on his re-election for a new presidential term.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had sent a cable of congratulations to President Erdogan on his re-election. The King also extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes of success to the Turkish President and wished the brotherly people of Türkiye further prosperity.
