RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Hassanal Bolkiah have discussed bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Brunei Darussalam, Arab media reported on Saturday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Sultan of Brunei was received by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The two leaders also discussed ways and prospects to enhance cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier, Madinah Governor Prince Faisal bin Salman met with the Sultan, who visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah on Thursday. They discussed the friendly ties between Saudi Arabia and Brunei Darussalam. It may be recalled that Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah had arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
The Kingdom and Brunei enjoy close and strong brotherly ties. In February, Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan also held an interaction with the senior minister of Brunei’s foreign ministry in Riyadh. They discussed the relationship between the two countries and ways to further enhance cooperation in diverse fields.
The two top diplomats also exchanged views to develop a coordinated approach toward global and regional matters of common interest.
The two nations also looked at the opportunities in order to enhance partnership as per Saudi Vision 2030.
