KSA Condolences Over Loss of Lives in Nepal Air Crash

RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Sunday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in an air crash in Nepal.

In a statement, Saudi Arabia’s ministry for foreign affairs said that Riyadh expressed its deepest condolence to the relatives of the victims, people, and the government of Nepal. It wished for the early recovery of all wounded people.

As many as 68 people were killed when the plane crashed in Pokhra, Nepal. The incident happened when the Yeti Airlines flight crashed in Pokhara, the worst crash in the last thirty-year in the Himalayan country.

Dozens of rescue workers scoured the site where the flight carrying 72 people from Kathmandu went down.

Local Officials late in the evening called off the search and rescue operations for the day, adding they will resume the operation on Monday.
