RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has condemned an Israeli attack on a UN-run school where thousands of displaced Palestinians were sheltering. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the KSA’s condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation’s bombing of a United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) school sheltering thousands of displaced civilians in the Nuseirat camp in Gaza.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom’s complete rejection of the systematic targeting of civilians, demanding an immediate truce and ensuring the protection of civilians, civilian and relief facilities, and their workers, the SPA reported. The ministry also emphasized the necessity of activating international accountability mechanisms about the ongoing Israeli violations of global humanitarian law and international legitimacy resolutions, the SPA further said.
