RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Ministry for Hajj and Umrah has announced the start of the new Umrah season for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations including Saudi Arabia, Arab media reported on Tuesday.
KSA Announces Start of New Umrah Season for GCC Countries
As per media reports the citizens of GCC nations can apply for an Umrah through the Tawakkalna and Nusuk applications following the successful end of the current year’s Hajj season.
The Nusuk application can be used to get the necessary permits in order to perform Umrah and visit the Holy Rawdah in the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. Tawakkalna ensures that the applicant meets all health requirements.
The Ministry for Hajj recently announced that pilgrims from outside of the GCC countries will be able to perform Umrah from the start of the new Islamic year.
