KP Govt Announces Scholarships for Public School Students

PESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced scholarships for deserving and bright students of government schools in the province.

 The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Department (KPESED) has stated that from government schools, 253 students from classes 7 to 12 will be selected for the scholarships. The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government will bear their expenditures.

253 students to benefit

Under the scholarships, 253 students will be getting education free of cost from the Centers of Excellence in Peshawar, Bannu, Mardan, Abbottabad, D.I. Khan, and Swat. As per the age criteria, students must be between 11 and 13 until 31 March 2023. Students can download the application form from the Educational Testing & Evaluation Agency (ETEA) website from 20 December onwards. The last date of applying for this scholarship is 10th January 2023.

 The following Centers of Excellence will provide scholarships to 253 students of the government schools of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It includes Islamia College School Peshawar, Bannu Model School & College Bannu, Fazal-e-Haq College Mardan, Mufti Mehmood School & College D.I. Khan, University Model School Peshawar, Peshawar Public School Peshawar, University Public School Peshawar, Agriculture University Public School and College Peshawar, Fazal-e-Haq College Mardan and Abbottabad Public School, Abbottabad.
