KP: CM Reshuffles Portfolios of Cabinet Members

PESHAWAR: The interim Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has shuffled the roles and responsibilities of five cabinet members, which include three ministers, one advisor, and one special assistant.

According to an official notification, the Minister for Tribal Affairs, Syed Aamir Abdullah, has assumed additional responsibilities for the Ministries of Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education alongside his existing portfolio.

Similarly, Engineer Ahmed Jan, who previously held the Minister for Mineral Development, Energy, and Power position, has now taken charge of the Ministry of Communication and Works and the Irrigation Department.

Engr Amer Nadeem Durrani, the Minister for Transport and Mass Transit, Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education, has been appointed Minister for Public Health Engineering, Local Government, and Rural Development.

Dr. Sarfraz Ali, the Advisor to the Chief Minister for Communication and Works, Planning and Development, and Public Health Engineering, has now been assigned the additional responsibilities of Planning and Development, Energy, and Power, along with Minerals Development.

Special Assistant Zafarullah Khan, who previously focused on Irrigation and Housing, has been entrusted with the Housing portfolio and Transport and Mass Transit. —APP
