PESHAWAR: Korean Ambassador to Pakistan, Park Ki Jun has lauded the endeavors of Aziz Jan Trust to equip youth with modern Information Technology (IT) skills.
The Korean envoy expressed the views during a visit to Mohsin and Huma Mass IT Training Institute (MHIT) in Peshawar on Friday.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Aziz Jan Trust, Afan Aziz who is also Honorary Consul of South Korea for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was also present on the occasion.
The visiting ambassador was told that Mohsin and Huma IT Training Institute has been established on August 27, 2023, by Aziz Jan Trust with the cooperation of Saylani Welfare Trust.
During the visit, Korean envoy interacted with students attending IT classes.
Afan Aziz informed Park Ki Jun that MHIT center is providing training to youth free of cost with the vision to equip the new generation with IT knowledge to generate self-employment.
The students are offered IT course in different disciplines including video animation, IT essential, graphic designing, Web & Mob App, Python, AI Chatbot, Techno Kids, Cyber Security, Flutter, CCNA, IT to graphic designing and IT to Web & Mob App.
A total of 1273 students have availed the opportunity of learning different courses at the MHIT center.
The Korean Ambassador appreciated the initiative after listening the success stories of different students.
Korean envoy suggested students to work hard in their respective fields and focus also on promoting Pakistan, Korea friendly ties.
He expressed the hope that the initiative jointly taken by MHIT and Saylani Trust will benefit hundreds of thousands of Pakistani youth.
