Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday that King Salman spoke about the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday.
Here is Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari’s (the media minister) who reads the full text of the recent speech of the King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz:
“In the name of Allah (the God), the Most Merciful, the Most Generous.
In the Holy Qur’an, Allah is praised for the following verse: “To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it.” Prophet Mohammed, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
Peace, kindness, and blessings from Allah be with you, Muslim people everywhere, and inhabitants and residents of our beloved Saudi Arabia.
We hope you will have a joyous and peaceful Eid Al-Fitr. We hope that Allah rewards our fasting this Ramadan and rewards us for our good actions and prayers. Peace and prosperity to you, your country, and all nations, and may Allah provide us another Eid to celebrate.
By Allah’s favor, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has the privilege of caring for the Two Holy Mosques and ensuring the safety of everyone who visit or conduct the rites of pilgrimage there. Since the founding of the kingdom by the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, via his sons, the kings, we have felt a profound sense of holy obligation and have worked tirelessly to fulfill this honorable task. We are privileged to carry on this work, and it is a n actual source of great pride for us.
Thanks to Allah the Almighty’s boundless bounties, millions of pilgrims were able to complete their Umrah ceremonies during this Ramadan. Without Allah’s blessing and the hard work of many government agencies, the pilgrimage to conduct Umrah would not be as smooth or as comfortable as it is today.
To my brothers and sisters, may your celebration of Eid be marked by acts of kindness, openness, and generosity toward those less fortunate. We pray that Allah showers us with pleasure and gladness.
We pray that, with Allah’s aid, Eid would bring peace, safety, and comfort to our area and the whole globe.
We pray that the Almighty showers His favor upon this Eid, grants us good health and joy, and guards our nation and the nations of the globe from harm.
