AMMAN: King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein of Jordan has held a reception at Al-Husseiniya Palace in Amman for Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, and the heads of Arab delegations taking part in the Amman meeting, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.

The meeting focused on discussing the current situation in Gaza and its surroundings, including global efforts to de-escalate the tension and means to protect unarmed people from the intensifying military operations, the SPA stated.

According to the SPA, additionally, they also addressed the progress of joint Arab action, highlighting the significance of cooperation and effective coordination among Arab nations. They also explored avenues to further advance these international efforts for the benefit of Arab countries, the SPA maintained.
The Crown Prince of Jordan and Jordanian Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi were also present in the meeting.
