MANAMA: King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
According to the SPA, at the start of the meeting, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud has conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing Bahrain continued development, progress and prosperity.
In return, King Hamad has extended his greetings and appreciation, wishing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia further success and development.
King Hamad has also acknowledged the efforts of the security coordination committee, a part of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council, underscoring the significance of the current collaboration. The meeting also included discussions on the close ties and security cooperation between the two nations, the SPA added. The reception was attended by both Bahraini and Saudi officials, as well as other senior representatives.
