JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz University Hospital has won the prestigious DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
The university president, Dr. Tareef Alaama, expressed pride in the 11 nurses nominated for the award. He emphasized the commitment of the hospital to achieving excellence in patient care.
Dr. Ghada Abdullah, the head of the nursing department, said that the DAISY Award aligns with Vision 2030’s goals of supporting the nursing sector. She said that receiving such awards is crucial for improving job satisfaction and enhancing the quality of healthcare provided to patients.
