SEOUL, South Korea: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un recently attended the test of an upgraded 240 mm rocket launcher system, showcasing North Korea’s ongoing efforts to enhance its military capabilities.
State media reported on Wednesday that the system demonstrated “superiority in mobility and strike concentration” during the inspection testing, highlighting improvements in its operational effectiveness and precision.
Earlier in the week, Kim also supervised tests of new “suicide drones,” designed to destroy targets through direct impact.
These drones successfully hit test targets, including a mock tank, indicating their potential use in future combat scenarios.
Kim urged researchers to integrate advanced artificial intelligence into these unmanned vehicles, signaling a push for more sophisticated technology within North Korea’s arsenal.
