ISLAMABAD/MUMBAI: Bollywood film stars Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra tied the knot in the presence of their family members and friends in a traditional wedding at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer.
Couple release clicks on Instagram after tying the knot
After tying the knot, the newlywed couple released their first official wedding clicks on their Instagram handles with a famous line from their hit film Shershah: “Ab humari permanent booking hogaye hai,” we seek your love and blessings on our journey of life ahead.”
Kiara Advani was wearing a pink lehnga for the wedding, which was claimed to be designed by Manish Malhotra. Complementing her, Sidharth wore an ivory sherwani. The couple looked stunning in the wedding photos.
Several Indian celebrities praised the newlywed couple on social media shortly after they posted their romantic wedding photos.
Among the celebrities of the film industry that attended their lavish wedding were Shahid Kapoor and his wife, Mira Rajput, Karan Johar, Armaan Jain and his wife Anissa Malhotra, Juhi Chawla and Jai Mehta, and Isha Ambani and her husband, Anand Piramal.
Sidharth and Kiara met first at the wrap-up party of ‘Lust Stories.’ They both were co-started for ‘Shershah.’ Kiara had admitted on ‘Koffee with Karan 7’ that she was not even cast for the film when she met Sidharth, but he was. Ever since then, there’s been no looking back. The two dated for a couple of years.
