GILGIT/BEIJING: The Pakistan-China border crossing at Khunjerab Pass in Northwest China’s Xinjiang region was temporarily opened from January 30 to February 10 to cross crucial Pakistani goods from the Chinese side.

The Khunjerab Pass was temporarily opened for the second time this year, from January 30 to February 10, at Pakistan’s request and with permission from China’s border management authorities.

According to the Global Times, local authorities in the Kashi Prefecture collaborated with other departments to overcome unfavorable elements like lack of oxygen, harsh weather, and snow storms to maintain the smooth flow of supplies.
