NEW DELHI:  A day following New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was granted bail and walked out of Tihar prison, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly emphasized that Kejriwal will resume his official jobs without any disruption. It emphasized that the daily functions of the Delhi government will not be obstructed by his bail conditions.

AAP’s Attack on BJP, Amit Shah

During a press conference, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has strongly criticized India’s Home Minister Amit Shah, alleging him of orchestrating Kejriwal’s detention in what Singh described as a “fake” case. Sanjay Singh asserted that the BJP’s claims suggesting Kejriwal’s incapability to perform his jobs are false as well as misleading.

Singh said that people of New Delhi will make the BJP lose its deposits in the next assembly elections for shamelessly sharing and spreading this lie,”. He also clarified that Chief Minister Kejriwal has no direct involvement in inking departmental files.

Singh also highlighted that the Supreme Court has not restricted CM Kejriwal from performing his duties related to files

Singh further criticized the extremist BJP and Amit Shah, saying that the Supreme Court’s bail order has dismantled the “mountain of lies” surrounding the alleged excise policy scam. He accused Amit Shah of undermining democratic institutions and causing political instability in the country. “Amit Shah is the real culprit behind sending Kejriwal to prison. Singh said a minister who topples governments and sends chief ministers to jail has no moral right to remain in his position.  The BJP has called for CM Kejriwal to quit from his position as Chief Minister.
