ASTANA: Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated Kazakhstani women on the International Women’s Day, local media reported on Friday.
In a statement, he said that he congratulated the women on the International Women’s Day. He said that this day personifying harmony and beauty, provides a chance to once again express gratitude and respect to the half of humanity.
He said that women played an invaluable role in the development of the nation, successfully working in diverse sectors. He expressed confidence that the creative efforts of all women in the country will become one of the most significant factors in updating the system of values of their society and building a Just Kazakhstan. He said wished happiness and prosperity to women of his country.
Earlier, Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov has also extended congratulation to women of Kyrgyzstan and urged them to play active role in all sectors. In a statement, Kyrgyzstan’s President said that this is a holiday of a symbol of admiration for the woman-mother and keeper of the family hearth. He said that from time immemorial, their people have treated women with awe, reflecting special care and love, guarding and protecting them.
