MOSCOW: Kazakhstan’s decision to remove the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) from its list of banned groups has garnered praise from Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova. According to Zakharova, this decision is expected to play a crucial role in bringing Afghanistan out of international isolation, fostering stability in the region, and promoting dialogue with Afghan authorities.
Zakharova expressed hope that Kazakhstan’s decision would positively impact the development of dialogue with Afghan authorities, strengthening mutual trust.
