DOHA: Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani led well-wishers to welcome Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev upon his arrival and the accompanying delegation at the Amiri Terminal of Hamad International Airport on an official visit to the country, local media reported on Wednesday.
According to media reports, also at the reception were Chief of the Amiri Diwan Saoud bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Qassim al- Abdullah al-Thani, envoy of Qatar to Kazakhstan Abdulaziz bin Sultan al-Rumaihi and envoy of Kazakhstan to Qatar Arman Issagaliyev.
Earlier, media reported that President Tokayev will hold talks with the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Prime Minister of Qatar. He will also attend the Kazakhstan-Qatar investment round table and hold a number of meetings with the leaders of business community in Qatar.
