Kazakhstan Keen to Strengthen Relations with Pakistan: Envoy

ISLAMABAD: The ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Kistafin, on Tuesday stressed to further strengthening Pak-Kazakh existing relations and enhancing bilateral trade and investment.

 

The ambassador called on the Chairman Senate, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, here at the Parliament House, Islamabad. The meeting served as a platform to further consolidate the cordial relations between the two countries and explore areas of mutual interest.

 

Both also agreed on increased educational and cultural exchanges.

 

The envoy expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to him. He acknowledged the pivotal role of Pakistan in the region and appreciated its efforts toward regional peace and stability.

 

The meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation in different fields, including trade, agriculture, tourism, energy, and transportation.

They also discussed regional and international matters of mutual interest, reaffirming the commitment to regional peace and security.

 

Chairman Sanjrani underscored the considerable progress made by Pakistan in different fields and stressed the importance of strengthening economic, educational, and cultural ties between the two nations.
