SRINAGAR: On the call of the All-Party Hurriyat Conference, Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control, in Pakistan and across the globe would observe August 5 (Saturday) as Yum-e-Eestehsal-e-Kashmir (Kashmir Exploitation Day) to mark the end of 2019 by the Narendra Modi-led Hindu-Tava Indian government. Protests are also planned to be lodged across the world against the illegal and fraudulent actions of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMC) on August 5, 2019, the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Narendra Modi abrogated Article 370 of the Indian Constitution as an open violation of UN resolutions and international laws, under which special status was granted to Jammu and Kashmir under the illegal occupation of India.
Accordingly, August 5 would be observed as Black Day in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, while Kashmiri immigrants in Pakistan, and other parts of the world would organize protests, rallies, seminars, and other gatherings to draw the attention of the international community. They would convey to the world about Indian atrocities in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where Indian soldiers have heated up the market of persecution.

While speaking at an event in New Delhi, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah urged the Modi government to negotiate with Pakistan to resolve all pending issues amicably and improve the situation in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He lamented that the way the Modi government has been dealing with the situation for the past few years has made the situation worsened in the occupied territory.
