ISLAMABAD: As the world commemorates International Human Solidarity Day, emphasizing governments’ adherence to international agreements, the Kashmiri populace remains in prolonged anticipation of their right to self-determination spanning more than seven decades.

According to a report from Kashmir Media Service, the Indian occupation forces, echoing tactics reminiscent of Adolf Hitler, have tragically claimed the lives of approximately five hundred thousand Muslims in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir over 76 years. This grim reality persists amid the region’s confinement under Indian military and police control since August 2019.

The report underscores that the symbolic celebration of this day may yield limited impact without the active support of global advocates for justice and peace aligning with the marginalized Kashmiri and Palestinian communities, both stripped of their political rights by India and Israel, acting as occupying forces.

Highlighting the urgent need for collective voices in solidarity, the report urges conscientious individuals to speak out in support of the oppressed people in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Each voice raised for Kashmiris contributes significantly to their cause, as supporting their plight equates to advocating for humanity.

Asserting the justified demand for the UN-sanctioned right to self-determination, the report emphasizes the deserving nature of global support for the Kashmiri people. It calls upon the international community to vocalize their support for the voiceless in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Furthermore, the report urges the United Nations to stand by the just cause of the Kashmiris and facilitate the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in alignment with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. Holding the Modi regime accountable for its alleged war crimes in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is deemed imperative.
