Kashmiri Leaders Vow to Uphold Mission of Martyrs Until IIOJK Liberation

KOTLI: Kashmiri leaders paying glowing tribute to freedom fighter Burhan Muzaffar Wani on his 8th martyrdom anniversary vowed to uphold the mission of martyrs until the liberation of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) from Indian occupation.

A large number of people from different walks of life on Monday attended rallies organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement in Kotli and Neelum districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing the rally, speakers vowed to uphold the mission of their martyrs until the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir from the illegal occupation of India.

Vice Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement, Qazi Imran and Sardar Haji Arif of the Muhajirin Ittehad Forum led the rally in Kotli.  Participants from diverse backgrounds reiterated their commitment to Kashmiris’ freedom struggle.

Speakers strongly condemned India’s repression in the occupied territory and called on the international community to support Kashmiris in their quest for freedom and justice.

Meanwhile, in Athmuqam, the headquarters of the Neelum district of AJK, the Jammu Kashmir Men’s League organized a rally to pay tribute to Burhan Wani and his associates. Participants were carrying banners bearing images of Burhan Wani and chanted slogans advocating freedom from Indian occupation and denouncing Indian actions.

It is pertinent to mention that Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and elsewhere in the world observed the 8th martyrdom anniversary of young freedom fighter Burhan Muzaffar Wani on Monday with the renewed pledge to continue the mission of martyrs.

In Muzaffarabad, a protest rally was also held at Burhan Muzaffar Wani Chowk to mark the martyrdom of Wani.
