BAHAWALPUR: The Bahawalpur Arts Council has inaugurated a three-day Kashmir Solidarity Exhibition at its art gallery, shedding light on the plight of Kashmiris victimized by Indian forces in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

The exhibition, opened by Prof-Dr. Aslam Adeeb, President of the Board of Management, and Sajjad Hussain, Director of Bahawalpur Arts Council, features a pictorial display showcasing images and photographs depicting the brutalities and atrocities committed by Indian armed forces against innocent Kashmiris.

The exhibition serves as a visual narrative of the human rights abuses faced by Kashmiris in IOK, offering a platform for visitors to witness the harsh realities of the ongoing conflict. The showcased pictures and portraits aim to raise awareness about the challenges and hardships endured by the Kashmiri population in their struggle for justice and freedom.

The Arts Council premises have witnessed a significant influx of visitors, including local residents, artists, and officials, eager to engage with the exhibition and gain a deeper understanding of the Kashmir solidarity movement. The event serves as a reminder of the importance of international solidarity in addressing the issues faced by the people of Kashmir and advocating for their fundamental rights.

Local artists and Arts Council officials, present at the inauguration, emphasized the significance of such exhibitions in fostering awareness and garnering support for the Kashmiri cause. The visual impact of the exhibition aims to resonate with the audience, fostering empathy and encouraging a collective call for justice in the face of human rights violations.
