BAHAWALPUR: To support Kashmiri brothers and sisters, the Pakistani nation will observe ‘Kashmir Siege Day’ on August 5.
Deputy Commissioner Zaheer Anwar Jappa of Bahawalpur announced the activities planned to commemorate the day during a meeting on Thursday.
A rally would be organized from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office to Farid Gate at 9:00 am, it was confirmed during the meeting. Government SE College and Government SD High School will both host seminars. The flags of Pakistan and Kashmir will be flown at rallies, and seminars will be organized at the tehsil level.
Chaudhry Zulfiqar Maan, President Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Sumera Rabbani, Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters, Naeem Sadiq Cheema, Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Sadar Mujahid Abbas, Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur, officers of various departments have attended the meeting. —APP
