ISLAMABAD: Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Speaker of the National Assembly and former prime minister, on Tuesday said that the sacrifices rendered by Karsaz martyrs will always be remembered in history.
In a statement on the 15th anniversary of the Karsaz Tragedy, he hailed the martyrs’ sacrifices, saying that the loyalty of Karsaz martyrs to democracy is unmatchable. They sacrificed their lives to protect democracy and their leader Benazir Bhutto.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader also with the bereaved families of the martyrs of the Karsaz tragedy.
“I pray to Allah Almighty to help them to bear these irreparable losses,” he said.
