KARACHI: Pakistan were all out for 408 in the first innings on the fourth day of the Karachi test on Thursday, in reply to New Zealand’s 449.

Shakeel kept his end secured for 488 minutes, batting all the day Wednesday and adding 83 for the 4th wicket with Imamul Haq (83).

He also shared a 150 runs partnership for the fifth wicket with Sarfaraz Ahmed (78). Shakeel hit 17 boundaries and was lucky to get a life off pacer Tim Southee. Tom Latham dropped a simple catch at short cover when he was on 102.
