KARACHI: In a bid to uphold discipline and professionalism within of law enforcement, the Rapid Response Force (RRF) of Sindh province has issued directives prohibiting police personnel from creating TikTok videos while in uniform.
This decision addresses concerns over the negative impact of such activities may have on police performance and public perception. According to the notification, the RRF has strictly forbidden the filming of TikTok videos inside official vehicles or on department premises.
The directive emphasizes that making TikTok videos in police uniform is considered unprofessional and contrary to the established rules of conduct within the force. “The primary aim behind this ban is to increase the efficiency of our force and ensure that the officers remain focused on their official duties,” the notification said.
It further underscores the importance of upholding integrity and professionalism, noting that adherence to these principles is crucial for maintaining public trust and effective law enforcement.
Responsibility for enforcing compliance with this directive has been assigned to senior officials, including Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP) and other designated authorities within the RRF and CMU Sindh.
